One of the goals I have as a part of my creative endeavors is to make valuable art that is also accessible. I don’t want to mass produce something that feels so intimate to me, but I like the idea of, say, 20 other people in the world having a copy. After a whole lot of hemming and hawing, I’ve decided to sell limited runs of a select few paintings. This is the first of hopefully many!

These first prints are a copy of the painting, “Procrastination at its Finest.” The original is oil on canvas, sized 18”x28.” The prints were made in two different standard  sizes that are easy to frame (18”x24” and 11”x14”).

Additional fun facts:

• The original painting was scanned on a high definition scanner (in Des Moines, Iowa) so the detail of each brush stroke, the thickness of the paint, and even the texture of the canvas is visible. The image went through a post-production process with fine art color matching and correction.

• The prints are on a heavyweight, textured paper called Hahnemühle German Etching 310gsm. The paper has a velvety, fine texture that gives images a handmade feel and a three-dimensional effect.

• The prints are centered with a one-inch border of white, and each was hand trimmed.

• Each copy is signed and numbered by yours truly and there will only ever be 20 available (10 large and 10 small) of this particular painting!
